The Dolce line represented Seiko’s more refined domestic-market dress offering, often featuring ultra-thin quartz calibres and distinctive dial work uncommon at the price point. This example stands out through its textured gold dial — often described as hammered or onyx-style — which adds depth and visual character beyond standard Dolce variants. Combined with the slim rectangular case and understated proportions, it offers a strong vintage design presence in an accessible package.
Condition
Warm gold-tone dial shows strong visual depth with even ageing and no visible moisture damage or degradation. Applied baton indices and printed minute markers remain crisp, with clean Seiko and Dolce signatures. Hands appear original and well matched. Mineral crystal presents clean with only light surface wear. Gold-tone plated case shows minimal edge softening with light hairlines consistent with careful use; no obvious brassing visible on high-contact points. Caseback displays expected surface wear while engravings remain legible. Crown appears original and proportionally correct. Fitted on a newer black leather strap with gold-tone buckle.
Performance: Quartz movement running correctly. Battery replaced in January 2025.
