Why It’s Special
Reference 3513.50 shows how Omega broadened the Speedmaster family in the 1990s: the established black-dial chronograph look was retained, while automatic winding and a date made it more practical for daily use. The 39 mm case offers a notably compact alternative to the Professional Moonwatch. Retention of a period set adds collector context to a watch that has often been worn rather than preserved.
Condition
Original black dial is clean, with crisp applied indices and sub-dial numerals and no visible spotting, moisture damage or deterioration. Original hands retain evenly aged luminous material. Stainless steel case has light bezel and flank scratches, without deep dents or evidence of aggressive polishing; case lines remain well defined. Tachymètre engraving remains clear and sapphire crystal has only minor hairlines under reflection. Crown and chronograph pushers appear correct. Bracelet shows light stretch, intact brushing and a functioning clasp.
Performance
Recently tested on timegrapher at –20 seconds per day. Acceptable for a neo-vintage automatic chronograph and suitable for regular wear. As with any vintage watch, this is a single snapshot rather than a service record.
