This Omega Seamaster, reference 2759-10 SC, is a 1956 manual-wind wristwatch powered by Omega calibre 420. It represents the elegant, hand-wound Seamaster form of the mid-1950s.
Why It’s Special
The Seamaster was introduced in 1948 to mark Omega’s centenary and rapidly developed into its versatile water-resistant dress-watch line. In the mid-1950s, hand-wound calibres such as the 420 kept the watches slim and direct, before the later dominance of automatic movements. This is an appealingly early expression of a collection that remains central to Omega today.
Condition
Black lacquer dial shows characteristic mid-century lacquer crazing with an attractive, even vintage texture across the surface. Applied indices and dauphine hands remain original. Acrylic crystal has been polished with light marks remaining. Stainless-steel case presents honest wear including surface scratches, light nicks, and a caseback visibly marked from previous opening attempts. Strap and buckle are modern aftermarket items.

Running steadily at –21 seconds per day with healthy amplitude for its age.
