An early-1980s Omega De Ville manual-wind dress watch powered by the slender Calibre 625. This example pairs a 32×30mm 20µm gold-plated case with a clean gold-tone dial and applied baton indices — a minimalist reflection of Omega’s refined design language from this era. The case aligns with the 1110.0133 family produced in the early 1980s, with reference estimated based on period documentation and matching case geometry.
Why It’s Special
The De Ville line of the early 1980s represented Omega’s final generation of hand-wound calibres — slim, elegant, and mechanically simple. Its warm gold-tone dial, slim proportions, and lightly domed acrylic crystal capture the quiet sophistication of the period, offering a timeless alternative to the more ornate watches of the decade.
Condition
Good vintage condition. The 20µm gold plating retains an even tone with minor edge wear and light pry marks near the case-back lip from previous openings. The factory-original dial shows light, uniform spotting but crisp printing and clean hands. Acrylic crystal is clear with light surface marks, and the case-back remains tight with brushing visible. Fitted to an aftermarket black leather strap with genuine Omega buckle.
Performance: Running healthily at +11 seconds per day with timegrapher results consistent with a recent service, though the movement has not been opened for inspection.
