This elegant 29mm example features Cartier’s dependable Quartz Calibre 90, the signature cabochon sapphire crown, and a clean ivory Roman dial that captures the understated refinement of the Must de Cartier era.

The Vendôme Vermeil line sits at the intersection of Cartier elegance and everyday wearability. This example has recently been re-plated in 18K gold, giving the case a warm, refreshed appearance while retaining its original geometry. The ivory Roman dial remains crisp and richly printed, complemented by the cabochon sapphire crown. Paired with a black leather strap and presented with a period-correct Cartier inner box, it offers a complete and refined introduction to vintage Cartier dress watches.
Condition
Light wear is present around the lugs and strap screws, consistent with careful use. The case has been recently re-plated in 18K gold, presenting with an even, warm finish; however, minor marks remain from past use. The ivory Roman dial is clean with strong printing, and the cabochon sapphire crown is genuine. Fitted with an aftermarket black leather strap and genuine Cartier buckle. Includes a period-correct Cartier inner box for presentation (not original to this piece).
