The Octagon is a less commonly encountered Santos interpretation from Cartier’s early-1990s catalogue. Its angular bezel recasts the Santos’ screw-motif language in a more architectural form, while retaining the design codes that trace the Santos back to Cartier’s 1904 wristwatch for Alberto Santos-Dumont. As a documented full set from this period, it has the supporting material collectors increasingly value alongside a neo-vintage Cartier sports watch.

Dial is clean and original with crisp Roman numerals and intact minute track. No visible staining, cracking, or print degradation. Blued hands are correct and clean. Sapphire crystal is clear. Case has undergone professional overhaul and cleaning, with stainless steel brushing remaining defined and polished bevels presenting sharply. Solid 18K bezel and screws show only light superficial wear consistent with careful use, with no deformation or heavy rounding observed.
